Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InterviewAI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

InterviewAI is an AI-powered interview coaching platform that enables users to practice job interviews through simulated sessions, receive performance feedback, analyse résumés, and access a library of interview preparation resources. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@interviewai.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Subscription & Billing

  • Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via our payment processor.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or where we explicitly state otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Free Trial

Certain plans include a free trial period. At the end of the trial your plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires. We will notify you before the trial ends.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate interview questions, feedback, and evaluations. AI output is provided for educational and practice purposes only and does not constitute professional career or legal advice. We do not guarantee accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., résumés). By uploading content you grant InterviewAI a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service. We will not sell your content to third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including software, design, trademarks, and AI models — are owned by InterviewAI Inc. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERVIEWAI INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Delaware.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and notify active users via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
